Zoodoku Privacy Policy

Effective date: 26 August 2026 · App name: Zoodoku: Animal Logic Puzzle

Zoodoku is a logic puzzle game from SoftwareDevTeam (softwaredevteam.gr). This policy explains what stays on your device, what may be collected after privacy consent, why we collect it, how you control consent, and how deletion works.

1. Data that stays on your device

Gameplay state is stored locally on your phone or tablet, including:

Level progress, stars, par medals, daily streak, and stats
Endless-mode run progress and per-lane records
Settings (sound, haptics, theme, reminders, and similar preferences)
Hint / heart wallets and remove-ads entitlement cache
In-progress puzzle resume snapshots (campaign / daily, and endless)

This local data is not uploaded to a Zoodoku-operated game server. Android Auto Backup may include app preferences in your device backup according to your Google / device backup settings.

2. What may be collected (after consent)

Ads, analytics, and crash reporting SDKs are not started until privacy consent is resolved (Google User Messaging Platform). In the EEA/UK and other regions that require a form, you see that form first.

Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

After consent allows analytics, we log gameplay and product events such as level start / win / fail, mistakes, hints used, daily completion, tutorial completion, endless-mode run events (run start, board clears, skips, run end), estimated ad impression value, and remove-ads purchase product id. We do not intentionally log your name, email, or other direct personal identifiers in these events.

Why: understand which puzzles and features work, and improve the game.

Advertising identifiers and ad activity (Google AdMob)

When ads are allowed, Google Mobile Ads may use your device’s advertising identifier and ad interaction data to serve win-screen interstitial ads and optional rewarded ads (for example, hints or an extra heart). There are no banner ads. A remove-ads purchase stops forced win-screen interstitials; rewarded offers remain optional.

Why: fund a free-to-play experience and deliver the rewarded offer you chose.

Crash data (Firebase Crashlytics)

After consent allows crash reporting, Crashlytics may collect crash stack traces, device / OS metadata, and related diagnostics so we can fix bugs.

Why: keep the app stable and diagnose failures.

3. Optional Google Play features

Play Billing — if you buy remove-ads, Google Play processes the purchase. Payment details stay with Google.
Play Games Services (optional) — if you use Play Games, achievements, leaderboards, and cloud save may sync with your Google account under Google’s terms.
Share result — if you share a win image, the system share sheet sends the image only to the app you pick. Zoodoku does not upload that image to its own servers.
Daily reminder — local notification on your device only; there is no Zoodoku push server.

Zoodoku does not request GPS or Android location permissions. Ad and analytics SDKs may still infer a coarse location from IP address (as declared in the Play Store Data safety section).

4. Consent controls

In-app consent form (UMP) — shown when required before ads / analytics / crash SDKs initialize.
Settings → Privacy options — when Google marks privacy options as required, you can reopen the consent / privacy choices form.
Device / Google controls — Android settings such as “Delete advertising ID” / ad personalization, and your Google Account privacy controls, also affect Google ads and analytics services.

If consent does not allow ads/analytics, those SDKs stay uninitialized and the game still works with local progress.

5. How to delete or stop data

Local-only Zoodoku data

Android Settings → Apps → Zoodoku → Storage → Clear storage / Clear data, or
Uninstall the app

Either action erases local progress, settings, and stats on that device.

SDK / Google-held data (opt-outs and deletion paths)

Reopen Privacy options in Zoodoku Settings (when shown) to change consent.
Use Google Ads Settings / Android advertising ID controls to limit ad personalization or reset the advertising ID.
Use your Google Account tools for Analytics / ad-related controls where available.
Manage or delete Play Games cloud save / Play activity in Google Play Games / your Google Account.
Purchase history remains with Google Play under Google’s policies.

6. Children

Zoodoku is a general-audience puzzle app and is not enrolled in the Google Play Families program for the initial launch. We do not ask children for personal information in the app. Parents and guardians can use the consent and device controls above.

7. Changes

We may update this policy when the product changes. The effective date at the top will change when the hosted policy is updated. Material changes should be reviewed again before launch communications.
